What should I enter for my company’s NAICS code?

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is the standard used by federal statistical agencies in classifying businesses.

To identify the proper NAICS code for your company, you can use US Census NAICS search tool to identify the code that best reflects your primary business activity.

Please Note: NAICS codes are reviewed and updated every five years to reflect changes in the economy, account for new and emerging industries, and remove obsolete ones. Many government agencies will require you provide a NAICS code defined by the most recent guideline (2022), so please double check that you are not using a 2017 or 2012 guideline code.
