How long is my registration going to take?

Registration turnaround times are dependent on each state agency and are generally not within Middesk’s control. Additionally, they may be impacted by factors such as government holidays, agency staffing shortages, or higher-volume registration times like the last few weeks before the end of a financial quarter.

Registration turnaround times vary quite a bit state-by-state. In some states, the registration process is fairly immediate, while others can take 4-6 weeks to complete a registration. There are even some agencies that will take 3-4 months to process a registration. However, the average turnaround time for a state payroll registration is currently around 10 business days.
