What does “action required” mean?

Middesk’s system automatically scans all mail delivered to our managed virtual mailing address, and detects whether a notice is asking you to take action or not. If our system determines that the mail is asking you (or your payroll provider) to take action, you will see the tag “Action Required” on that Communication. If you are unsure of what action the mail is asking you to take, please consult your payroll provider or a trusted tax advisor.
