Why can’t Middesk support my registration?

There are certain situations where Middesk will be unable to support a business’s payroll tax registrations. Some of these restrictions are based on the registration scenario, but other reasons include certain entity types Middesk cannot support. 

Middesk cannot support registrations for/when:

  • Non-501(c)3 non-profit organizations

  • Limited partnerships (LP) or a limited liability partnerships (LLP) 

  • Government entities

  • Agricultural businesses

  • Entities without a FEIN 

  • Entities that do not have any officers with a valid SSN 

  • Entities that have previously been registered in a state

  • When the reason for registration is a change of entity type

  • When the reason for registration is an acquisition or merger

  • When a hire or payroll date is too far in the past
