Why can’t Middesk support my registration?
There are certain situations where Middesk will be unable to support a business’s payroll tax registrations. Some of these restrictions are based on the registration scenario, but other reasons include certain entity types Middesk cannot support.
Middesk cannot support registrations for/when:
Non-501(c)3 non-profit organizations
Limited partnerships (LP) or a limited liability partnerships (LLP)
Government entities
Agricultural businesses
Entities without a FEIN
Entities that do not have any officers with a valid SSN
Entities that have previously been registered in a state
When the reason for registration is a change of entity type
When the reason for registration is an acquisition or merger
When a hire or payroll date is too far in the past
