Why is a signature required for my registration?

The “signatory”—the person who provides their signature on the tax registration—must provide their signature to attest that all information provided on the tax registration is true and accurate to the best of their knowledge and ability. State agencies require this signature, and Middesk therefore must collect the signature, which we store securely in your registration records in order to complete said registrations. At no point will these signatures be used for anything other than the requested registrations.
