Middesk, at the moment, does not handle the closure of state accounts.
We would recommend one of the following options: A) Reach out to your payroll provider and request that they mark your next quarterly filings as "final." Not all payroll providers are able to do this but it is the easiest way to close accounts. B) If that is not an option, with most states you can likely close accounts by logging into the respective portal. For states where logging in is a requirement to register on your behalf, those credentials can be found in your Middesk account.
Once these accounts are closed, please email agent@middesk.com to let us know and we can stop managing them in Middesk and halt invoicing for these states.
