A small number of states require that a company representative change the company’s mailing address with the relevant state agencies. For transfers requested in those states, you will be provided with additional instructions on how to change your mailing address with the state via email. You will also see these listed as “action required” in your Middesk dashboard.
States that require additional steps outside of the normal transfer process are:
- Georgia (GA)
- Hawaii (HI)
- Indiana (IN)
- Maine (ME)
- Massachusetts (MA)
- Minnesota (MN)
- Oklahoma (OK)
- Pennsylvania (PA)
- Tennessee (TN)
- Utah (UT)
- West Virginia (WV)
Please inform our team at agent@middesk.com after you have completed the address change with the state, as a transfer will not be considered completed until the mailing address change has been confirmed.
